Hello everyone!

I am curious, is there any way to use "Substance" material node with Sbsar files on Octane?
(This one that comes from Substance Designer and presents natively in maya and max)
It is very powerful procedural texturing utility and it is a shame to give up on such a great tool using octane.
I would be grateful if someone could assist me in making it work. Or if it is not supported, maybe developers could enhance the plugin and make them compatible. :D

Hi TimSultan,
Miko3d, betatester and expert user of Quixel, has created a fantastic Octane preset in the LiveDB for translating the Quixel PBR in an Octane material:

Maybe you can ask in the Substance Designer community if someone could do the same

We use substance for Cinema 4D and I didn't even think to test out Substance, but I must say the Material Conversion did a rather good job. So if you don't mind building your Substance then with the plugin importing it into your 3D software and using Octanes conversion, you should be good
