Hi!
There will be nodes Hair and Grass to create instances? You can create basic materials to generate grass or hair? with Wizard.
I don't use plug-in OR, it is difficult to manage them. I'm so out of games.
You will be imported fibermesh of ZBrush?
What outputs will be supported?
Thanks! ;)

I already tried Phantom Scatter. To command a spaceship. Cool!
A node generator grass would be faster ... BUT! All advise phantom scatter!
I tried to use it, I worked with difficulty, it means that I tried it in the wrong way.
Try the new version! Don' t turn back!

Fibermesh of ZBrush?...
What outputs will be supported?

Thanks! ;)

Hi,
just reload the .csv file connected to the scatter node ;)
Standalone is still a render app, not a modelling app :D

How rendering hair from alembic file? :?
I only see pipes. If I'm wrong, tell me! There is a tutorial left out? :o
Hair node as Mesh node!..not a generator.
Only grass node generator.
Thanks! ;)

Hi,
I have prepared an example for both, scatter node and spline grass, I have used c4d for generate the instances and the splines:
Grass-CSV-Spline.orbx
In my opinion, the scatter node is more efficient, you can have a lot of versions and update is very easy.

On the other side, the splines are more complex to generate and handle. Splines are perfect for hair and fur. Furthermore, without an integrated plugin with hair system is quite impossible to fine tuning the effect.

ciao beppe

P.S. is not possible to compare Maxwell with Octane, except for the output... is like comparing a Mercedes with a Ducati :D
