Paul, the translation from the Modo camera offset seems to be broken.
The OctaneRender Viewport looks different from the Modo camera.
Here is a test scene:
Camera Offset Not Working Properly

Octane for 3ds Max v2.21.1 | i7-5930K | 32GB | 1 x GTX Titan Z + 2 x GTX 980 Ti
Rob - I put through a fix related to this in the TEST release a few versions ago which will potentially fix this. If you let me know if you are on Modo701, 801 or 901 and which exact plugin version you are using, it will help me track down the exact issue.

Further analysis reveals that this scene is not working quite right on the latest release of the plugin. Film Fit = Fill is not calculating the offsets correctly. All the other Film Fits are working correctly. I will fix this in the next release.
