Hi

i hope someone has a workaround for this. I want to apply an image sequence as a texture for texturing a lcd panel. The sequence is rendered out as a png sequence from AE. So far so good. The texture shows up and the playback works fine. The only thing that does not work is setting the start frame to determine on which frame in Layout the sequence will start. It always starts on frame zero. (it should start at e.g. frame 120) In VPR everything works like expected. From 0 to 120 it holds the first frame and from there on the sequence starts. But unfortunately not in octane.

Is there anything i can do to make this work?

Let me check this problem, but I think that there was an issue with the LW SDK that didn't support the frame range adjustments for external render engines.

Nope, this was an old issue. At least in LW 2015.2 all works fine with the "Start frame" parameter in any mode (drop frame, hold first frame and mirror loop).

What version of LW are you using?
