Anybody know what causes this to happen? It seems to happen at the most random times, and I've never had my license on another machine. I have rounded it down to being caused by Octane.

Oh, that makes sense. I'm using an eGPU. I'm guessing there is no way to prevent this other than have it plugged in when I open Cinema 4D or deactivate/reactivate. Thanks.

Hi Garytyler,

If you want us to investigate further, please check in ~/Library/Caches/liboctane/ for two files, octren0 and octren1.
If they are there, send them through to us [email protected] attention Chris.
I can take a look and see what might be causing octane to think it's running on a new machine.

I e-mailed the requested files to support. The issue is related to how many displays I am using at the time. This seems to be a strange way to identify a computer. I am currently having to wait for an hour before I can reactivate my license. Not fun.
