I couldn't resist digging deeper into the animation and rigging in Maya, so I kept playing around, watch a couple of tutorials to get me going with a simple stretch and squash.. During the period of the last few days I have also investigated on how to bring the animation over to LightWave. Animation cache and a plugin was the solution, and I'm very happy to have recently purchased Octane. It's opened for a new workflow for a fast turnaround to get just the look I want.
350 samples seemed to be enough for this simple setup, so it rendered quite fast. A total of 940 frames were rendered this afternoon. Then I spent some time with the sounds. I'm planning to animate a couple of seconds in the end, to have them jump/roll out of frame. Hope you like it.
