Hi, I'm trying to export a group of hair from 3dsmax through Ornatrix alembic exporter, the hair are exported correctly, except the thickness. If I DON'T specify the thickness in max, and then I export the hair, they come in HUGE, and the Octane parameter to specify the default thickness doesn't work! :x

Here is the file, if someone wants to take a look... :(

Here is what this looks like for me:
AlembicHair.jpg
This is with 2.02, default meters scale and hair thickness (0.0001).
Seems ok for me?

The problem is you cannot change the thickness. It doesn't matter what value I put in, it always looks the same... Can you confirm that?

Ahh, ok, sorry I thought the problem was that the hair was huge.
Yes I can confirm the default thickness does not seem to do anything for me either.
Is this the export with or without the thickness specified? (I'm guessing with?)

It is specified, yes, but even if I don't specify it, the hair come in huge, and the thickness parameter doesn't do anything. Can we have a "override thickness" option box in Octane?

Guys, is there any option to render hair directly from 3dsmax - by octane 2.0?
I mean standard hair and fur modifier.

use 2.02 version of 3dsmax plugin. there is an option in render settings - "standard hair&fur support"
