Hey everyone,

sometimes it's not easy with Octane! I got stuck with a fairly simple setup of a diffuse/opacity material. Its a simple label on a bottle that should be opaque and masked by an alpha image. But regardless of all tweaks I did the label still shows a bit through.

Material definition is:

- diffuse > image texture with PSD image of label

- opacity > image texture with PSD b/w mask that cuts of the outer space

example:
Opacity_Error.jpg
I know this should be easy but I can't figure it out. Please help.

Thanks - Ron

only reason that output of texture is not full white or power factor is not 1.0

But it is pure white. What do you mean with poer factor? The float value? It is already 1.

If i use checks as a test instead of the mask image everything is OK.

YES!

This value was 0.9 - I never changed it - only god knows why it was off. Now it's OK and no light comes through the label.

Thank you Ahmet!
