Same here. After one switch to manual mode, it is stuck in it. No more autofocus at all.

Also I´m not able to animate the focus with the focus picker anymore??
Just doesn´t set a key when changing focus.
Worked fine with 1.5

Do you use octane camera?

It doesn't work with standard camera, but should work with octane one.

Yep. It works with octane camera. And as I see, it works in my other test scene. Should there be something with scene scale?..

Anyway, I hope you will able to fix autofocus for using with viewports, without cameras. In my case it is really useful for fast scene navigation. And for models preview, while modeling, DOF looks charming :)
Thanks!

I think you just used octane camera without autofocus which replaces standard octane settings with autofocus.

I only use it with viewport in 90% of all cases and it does not work. Even with objects without opacy.
