Hi,

sorry if I missed that, but will it be possible to stack materials
with alphas in upcoming version 2.0?

Or is there a workaround for placing a logo with a alpha
with a different mapping onto an object?
Whenever I try this, the whole object gets transparent, or the
logo is tiled allover the object. I can mix materials but then I cannot position
them differently.
I must admit, that I don't understand these "UV-transform" and
"texture-projection" settings in the image texture.
Is it possible with these options and is there maybe a tutorial for that available?

thanks
Mike

Hi Ahmet,

thank you for your quick reply, but I
still cannot it!
decal.jpg
I want the wood-texture to stay as it is but want
to position the text independently.
As soon as I click on the "trinagle" for the position in
the projection field C4D crashes.

Example "decals_2" has missing textures.

thanks

you don't try well i think. There is a UV transform. It allows to translate it, as you wish.
I see the problem on control. Use it from inner controls except to unfold.

o.k. got it!

But I have to mention, that this method is a bit laborious.
Would be much easier to move a stacked material and rotate/place
it directly in the viewport.

anyway thanks much!
