ObjectTag Camera Visibility option not work with instances
Moderators: ChrisHekman, aoktar
Hi. I have many cloned objects in my project with help of Mograph Cloner. And I want turn off visibility of this objects in render but keep shadows from them. I apply a Octane ObjectTag on Cloner and turn off Camera Visibility option. After rendering objects still visible, BUT if turn off Render Instances option in Mograph Cloner everything is fine, objects disappeared, but shadows from them is visible. Please explain, I'm doing something wrong or this is limitations of Octane or this is bug? Thanks.

hmm, yes right. There is a problem. I'm going to fix it with some extra fixes

a workaround is to make a render instance object, and put in to cloner. And set cloners as standart instances.R_Flash wrote:Aoktar thanks. It is not problem if copyes not so many. But if them few thousands this becomes a problem.
But i'll send to you a fixed version, i think that was fixed
