Hi,

Render passes will be shipped in 2.x not 2.0. That being said, we can add a BW mask it's not too much work.

+1 ! I was wondering about the same thing few days ago !
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

i rather se a multi matte pass like in vray. more efficient to get three masks in one rgp mask.

To be fair, on the current version, it takes 5 seconds to export a png with alpha, and create a b/w mask in Photoshop...
