Hi all,

It seems that when I rotate an IES light it stops working in the render viewport? At a 270deg (Z axis down) it seems to work, but not at any other angle...Any help would be most appreciated!

Thanks,

- Rich

what's the version of plugin? I suppose that you have 1.0 or so.
Plugin works different for ies mapping since some sdk versions has projection nodes.

If anyone has any suggestions would be great as I've got a client demanding spots be on particular items from below and I can't do it! (Pesky clients!)

Thanks aoktar - I've isolated the lights and they seem to be emitting from the -Y value? Included an isolated file - is it something to do with a dodgy IES?

i can't investigate now, but every ies seems different. Also keep RX=90 in spherical projection. You can scale ies file with transform node's SY value

Hi again - I've been trying a few IES files and for some unknown reason I think it was a bad file - no idea! Works like a charm now though, thanks for your time!
