Octane plugin does not install in LW-11.5 or 11.6

I can't install Octane plugin in Lightwave 11.5 or 11.6.

Using Edit Plugins: Add Plugins;
I get "cannot load external plugin file" ( 0 plugins found in 1 file )

Using Add Plugins;
I get "plugins were not found or could not be added"

Systems Specs:
-Windows 8 pro x64
-Core I7 X980 @ 3.33 GHZ
-9GB ram
-Quadro 5000 Version 320.27
-Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64 Redistributable-10.0.40219
-Octane for LW 11.5 1.20.1 x64
-Octane for LW 11.6 1.20.2 x64

Hello,

Few tips to try to fix your problem:
- Be sure that both LW and the plugin are the x64 versions.
- You need to copy the Octane.dll and Octane.dat files to your LW/bin folder before add the plugin.

Thanks; The plugins and LW were x64 and I followed the install instructions.

Can you add other x64 plugins to your LW without problems?

Perhaps you could try to download the plugin files again to be sure that files are not corrupted.

Yes other plugins load no problem.
I also downloaded fresh copy's, for the same result.

It's really strange, I never had seen this problem before if both plugin and LW are x64.

Does LW show any other error message while you are trying to add the plugin? ... perhaps a screen grab of the errors could help.

Did you try also to install the Demo version of the plugin for x64, or only the Final plugin release? ... it is only to be sure that there are no problems with files. If you can't install both Demo and Final versions of the plugin, I will be sure that the problem is not in the file.

Octane for LW 11.5 1.20.1 x64 is the latest release. I will try the demo and provide screen grabs. Thanks.

I tried Octane-for-LW_1.20.1_x64_demo and got the same result.
I uninstalled Lightwave and files related to the Lightwave program, even in the registry.
I reinstalled Lightwave 11.5 x64 and Octane-for-LW_1.20.1_x64 and still got the same result,
the Octane plug will not install. Here is a screen grab showing my results.

I am sorry about this. Really I can't understand what could be the problem ... nobody reports a problem like this one

In the screen grab I can see that all is OK. A LW 11.5 x64 and the x64 plugin.

Sorry, but I don't used Skype. I will try whatever you think might work.
I do remember the beta version of Octane working, So I am going to try it with Lightwave 11.0
And see what happens.
