Since installing Octane Plugin I noticed that when I press the Scroll Lock key my loaded scene in DAZ studio gets irreversibly damaged.

Basically any jointed geometry loaded in the scene gets twisted and turned and there is no way to undo this change.

I'm using the Scroll Lock as the PTT button (push to talk) on TeamSpeak as it is a key that really has no use (maybe except for M$ Office spreadsheets).

When I deactivate the plugin and restart DAZ studio I can press the Scroll Lock key as many times as I like with no impact on the loaded scene. After re-enabling the plugin and restarting the Studio the problem returns.

Versions I'm using:
OS: Win7 SP1 (64bit)
GTX 580 (for system) / GTX Titan (for Octane) - NVIDIA Driver version 320.49
DAZ Studio 4.6.0.18 Pro (64bit)
Octane Render for DAZ Plugin v1.0.113.2313
Octane Render Standalone v1.20

Is this some undocumented "feature" or is it just me again who always has the broken one?

hi! this is definitely my bad.

this was implemented way back, even before the closed beta... it was meant to work as eye-to-cam pointer; since the point-at in ds3 didn't work all to well (like missing updates when switching keyframes), and since it caused (and still causes) crashes if pointed-at cameras are deleted through the daz api, it should serve as a better replacement. as it got rather useless with ds4 and genesis, i just had forgotten about it

what it does is to take all current selected nodes, look for bones that names ends with "eye" and points them to the camera. so i'm still a bit puzzled about what it does to your scene... if you like you can pm me the scene, so i can look what is the cause (maybe ik and/or other point-at relations), but imo it should be taken out completely...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

Basically it happens even when I have clear scene and just add any character to it... Default Victoria 4, Genesis whatever... After pressing the Scroll Lock the figure gets mangled...

Check your PMs the scene file is there... It is a basic empty set with just the default Victoria 4.

Disabling IK for the figure has no effect...

Are you sure it's not just a "Make Art" button?
