This may be a bit more of a DAZ question - but applies thru to Octane as well:
How do you insert a 2d image into a 3d scene? Originally I added a primitive-cube and chose the diffuse/ambient/opacity, etc to the image. That looks ghosted but close in DAZ - however the 'tiling' doesn't match for the plugin/Octane. Horz and Vert Tile count and offsets don't match.
If there's a better way to insert an image (pretty much as an opaque flat image, but with alpha which is not opaque), please let me know.

i'd say no, there isn't; apart from that i'd use a plane, the use together with octane is currently limited by the fact, that mappings in octane currently only support tiling but no offsets - thus you'd need something that exactly fits the primitive...
