Can't see any DB Live material images

In the latest version I can no longer view the Live DB material previews. I figure I'm missing a setting somewhere.

hm, from which version were you upgrading? can you please post a screenshot of the live db view?

apart from that: can you please check if your cache folder is accessible? in the preferences tab, path settings, click the arrows button next to the cache path setting. this path should of course exist, in there should be folders named "LiveDbPreview" and "LiveDbTextures" - the *preview folder normally contains the thumbnail jpegs (means the plugin needs to be able to read and write to this folder)...

Yepo , that was it. relinked and repaired. The problem was I recently changed the DazStudio Library to an external partition (I have SSD and file distribution is critical).u.All is working, again...thank y

glad to hear that; i'm using SSDs too, that was one of the reasons to not overstress writing into places that can't be changed at least. btw, if you choose another directory from that dialog, the plugin will also move the contents...
