or just unlock all the spinners ;)There (imo) should never be a clamped value in any 3d application. For years autodesk clamped stuff (still do in a few spots) and it sucked. At some point you have to realize that not everyone will work to scale or whatever, and that should be taken into account. With some good "default" numbers you get a grasp of the scales involved.. Some people cant work to scale or maybe *wont* work to scale because the scene was just handed to them as is, all out of scale, and it just has to "look" correct.. (lots of film work is like this btw
The lights for example (the blackbodies) I like the nice warm look of the lower value colors, but I cant get it to the brightness I want.. Sure I can re-tonemap the scene, but that means I might have to go in and adjust 50 *other* lights AND the sun to get the same result.. I'd personally like to just dial the power up a lil more

I love "physically correct", but if your art director comes over and asks for that extra bit of non-physical, art-directed look, it's nice to comply
