Or records show you only have a standalone license. The poser plugin requires both a standalone and poser license to run. You can purchase a poser plugin license here: http://render.otoy.com/shop/poser_plugin.php
Since you already have a standalone license you do not need the combo - just select a single poser license for 99EUR.
Hi Chris & thanks for the reply.I should have mentioned that this is the demo i'm trying to evaluate before deciding on purchase.I cannot proceed any further than the mentioned screen tho' to evaluate. No tabs will allow anything other than their selection.
TIA
Thanks Chris, here is the full address of the demo I downloaded.Twice d/loaded just to make sure. http://render.otoy.com/downloads/Octane ... a_demo.zip
Just to add, twice installed & dbl checked to be correct location.
Thanks
Paul.
Hi Paul, I downloaded the installer you downloaded, installed, and it worked OK. I notice that you have the correct version (1.00p), however it has not picked up that it is the demo version (see the window title on the image below with the *** DEMO *** in the header). To me, it looks like you have actually downloaded the commercial version 1.00p rather than the demo. Is it possible that you previously downloaded and installed the commercial 1.00p and the files have a newer date than the demo version so didn't install correctly? File date/sizes should be:
C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2012\Runtime\Python\addons\OctaneRender for Poser\OctanePlugin.pyc 11/02/2012 264,724 bytes
It this does not help, pls post the octaneplugin.log file from you Poser temp folder (from Edit->General Preferences->Misc) and I will investigate further.
Hi Paul,
I had indeed d/loaded the commercial version it appears but back in early December. After removing the extra addons folder the demo is working as it should.Thankyou to yourself & the team there for all your excellent help.
Paul.
