Here's the first version of the octane export script for modo.
If you find a bug, please leave a detailed step by step description of how to reproduce the bug, a copy of the event log and your system spec.

Enjoy!

Thanks Fredrik!

Could you explain again about how our scenes in modo need to set up to work optimally with this exporter?

Nevermind! I had a crash, but it was because I used spaces in my pathname.

Don't use spaces, just like he warned us!

Any chance of adding an easy "Cancel" option for rendering animation? Since it runs a script for each frame, it completely takes over my machine and I have to manually crash modo to make it stop...

Otherwise, looks good! Still testing!

There should be a progress bar during animation rendering, the progress bar got an "abort" button. It will appear after the first frame.

Tried the script, The object got saved out with a mtl file. No camera position etc were saved out and no materials (uV'ed) came over either. I had also copied the images for the materials into the same directory as the OBJ file.
