Is there a way (Besides putting a plane in your scene and mapping an image onto it, as that adds a whole shadow casting light blocking element into your scene)
That one can put a backplate behind your image? And still use an HDR to light your scene.

I put this image in and I understand why it will not seam up... just hoping there is a work around

Thanks

Peter

There's a trick to render an alpha pass for compositing:

Thanks. Will try this out.
Backplates coming in later releases I'm sure.

yeah, with an alpha channel in your output render you will be able to easily composite.
however, that trick linked to works quite well, i've heard of quite a few people using it on the forums.
