OK, I have a long way to go here to master SSS.....mixed glossy (for figure maps) and diffuse materials (trasmission/scattering). The mix is set at 0.987 in favor of the glossy material since too much SSS tends to wash out diffuse map details.

I chose an eyes closed type pose because I'm working on the eyes.

Very nicely done! Though, if you'll be doing a lying pose, you'll need to adjust breasts gravity direction 8-)

Skin looks great! If you fix the gravity and get her hip out of the ground it will be a nice looking render all together.

Ah the ol'hip in the ground! Thanks Populus! :D

Real test was just the skin and how it reacts to light....I used an older scene, but when it comes time to finish, I have to import the model into Lightwave and merge those seams, fix any poke through of the hair and ground, and give some gravity to the breasts.

Great job, rather than do that just add a bed, she would be sinking into the bed and be more believable than the floor.
The test looks like it was a success or at least going in the right direction. Have you tried Optitex Dynamic hair (not truely dynamic but works) it may have helped in this situation.

if it wasn't for the breast(and 'cause this a CG forum), I would have thought I was watching a real photo, great job!

Thanks Tugpsx, bed is great idea.....once I get the skin right in as many lighting conditions that will be next. The Optitex Dynamic hair needs to be looked into by me because hair in the DAZ type figures is a real letdown. Its always that one piece that you know for sure its fake.
