Hi Ahmet,

you mentioned changes to the node editor in this version (2.21.1).
What exactly was changed? I still get crashes while using it.
What time do you expect to get to a stable version of the node editor?

Thanks and regards

where is it crashing and what kind of? Do you have bug report? It should be much better atm, at least for me. I have completely changed the texture storage system. In last recent versions, that was causing the crashes.

Don't have a bug report this time but will send one next time. I created a new material inside the NE in a new scene without any other materials.

again please,

Alpha not working in materials anymore.

Same project - b/w tex in opacity-slot worked fine before.
Now, when rendering, alpha gets not stamped out but renders black.

Has something changed here?
Do I need to use the render method 1 (send all scenedata) maybe for that to work?
As said, it worked before.

btw. where is the upload picture option gone?

regards

Hi Ahmet,

yes, alpha is enabled in Kernel!

Could I elsewhere by mistake checked or unchecked something
which prevents alpha in opactity-slot to be rendered correctly?
As already mentioned, in Material preview it looks o.k.

i can say that all is working as usual. I don't know that's your issue. Try to build a simple test scene from scratch to check it.
