network rendering is working, but be sure SA can do it also. you can enable it from menu of live viewer. it's not so much tested by me.
immortal-arts did some tests with plugin.

Everything is fine. Plugn is work. But how can I get my 39 euro back payed by mistake for upgrade?
Win7, i7 950, 12Gb RAM, GTX580

Check Network Rendering All sub machine. Master Machine too.
Nothing speed up..... Live & Picture viwer...

Next
Install Daemon All Submachine.
Standalone can find submachine & Speed up.
But C4D is not. Same Speed...

c4d Nothing info & setting. only Network rendering Check Menu. It's Confused

AM I MISSING?

Displacement:
- eg. loading a noise, it makes visible steps and spikes. Is there an easy way to get rid of them?
- loading a texture does not show up in live viewer info lines as a loaded map. So it is processed before?
- loading a 32 bit floating tif does not show any response.
The 32 Bit Tif is a special one, a geotiff. Probably thats the point. Sometimes it seems that Cinema itself can handle it, sometimes not.

e.g. noise, its a 1/10 part of a standard C4D noise in 8k. Is there a way to smooth it?

Hi Ahmet!

Sweet upgrade man! I'm loving this new version. Really great job. Can't stop playing with this. I do have a question regarding displacement. When using a displacement texture it's breaking my geometry. See attached. Maybe I'm missing a check box. Can you clue me in here?

I think you need some black edges around the texture to make them connect. If everything is white or light grey they all will be displaced..... I think...

C4D Displacement Channel : Keep Origian Edges Option
VRAY Displacement Meterial : Keep Continuity Option

Octane 2.0 Need This Option. Standalone too... ;) Maybe Can't
but you can change Image.

Yes, the daemon is in the 192.168.0.0/24 sub-net. You have to switch to this one, to be able to find the daemon. See here in the Standalone manual: http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Standalo ... ge_id=1248
To switch the sub-net you have to disable network rendering first:

hello,
its works here but not seamless..
on master when octane c4d is on, try to check uncheck check "enable network rendering" in standalone pref menu.... :cry:
