Hmm. Could you please elaborate on how you got hair to work? I've tried everything I can think of. So how can I not use "global" mesh scatter?

This worked for me too, thanks! But is there a recommend number to set or will anything higher than the default 0 do without causing issues elsewhere?Hm, when I render, it renders ... but I get no image .... viewport stays black....
.....FIX: Change the Distance value from camera.
Also, are we expected to change this setting every time we create a new file or is this a bug that will be fixed in a new release?
