I agree that the GUI is not as good as the previous one : the behaviour of the buttons to enable disable the render, the material picker and the Autofocus features is very weird and counter intuitive. Visually it is not obvious and it is not easy to see at first glance what is active or not.

@Radiance : please in beta 3, could you come back to the previous system ?.

i try to instal in my mac but the license key that i keep the octane said is wrong..... why???

someone can hel me please :D :D

Try running octane under an administrative account the first time, just in case file system permission prevents it to write the license file where it should be. Also, are you sure the key has been generated for the machineID displayed in the box ?

hi
octane that I put in windows with bootcamp is work, the license key is always that?
now I try to uninstall Windows octane and see what happens in my mac, none of these problems?

hi thanks for help me.....
sorry for my bad english i try to explane
so i install the previously version of ocatne in windows via bootcamp with a license key and evertihnk works graet !!!
now i instal the mac version of octane and i use the same license key (is that ok???) but the program said invalid key....
i hope i explane well so you understand...

Please check if the software reports the same machine ID for both bootcamp and mac. If it does, the software should run with the same license key. But it is possible the two os will report a different one. In that last case, you should choose one of the two as your work operating system.

you don't do that...
you load the OCS, and relink the new OBJ with the relinking button, at the end of the meshnode,
in a similar way than reloading a different image in an image texture node...
