Nice work on the 2.0 update Juanjo and many thanks to the dedicated beta testers also. I'm still checking out the new features but one question Juanjo regarding the render target being saved out 'per scene' rather than in it's default location in the user folder. Seems this hasn't been implemented in the 2.0 release is this correct?

Cheers,
Dino.

Nope, this feature is not ready yet. I will try to add it for the next release of the 2.x plugin.

Anyone else noticed a substantial drop in rendering speed?...

yes apparently the very last octane 2.01 core enhances the speed, but not in every case, compared to the actual used in LW plugin...

Please send us an example scene where 2.01 renders slower than 2.00. Also give us your GPU configuration, since it may be related to this. Thanks.

Yes, of course ... I can send to you a new build to test the plugin in XP tomorrow. Perhaps I should open a new thread in the forum to post "daily builds" updates of the plugin with the last Octane API and bugs fixed ;)

Hi Juanjo,

That would be great. I'm looking forward to trying a few experiments on 2.0

Version 2.01 already!, wow blink and you miss it. Will test today. A dedicated thread for daily builds is a great idea
