After changing LV camera behavior Octane stopped updating materials - if new polygons are included or excluded from material tag or new material is added to objects. There is need LV restart to update them.

Changes are not related to other parts. Make sure you are checking well. Octane For Cinema 4D developer / 3d generalist

Checking are ok. Changing material properties works fine but adding materials updates
new after 15-30 seconds. Never had this before in previous versions. Even updatinggeometry changes is slugish. This is scene with a lot of generators. I will test more

I have noticed Camera movement has started to not update in LV window in some cases: when I am using "Takes", and I copy the set camera and keep using the Take set camera, I need to change the set camera and back to make it responsive in the Liveview window.SSmolak wrote:After changing LV camera behavior Octane stopped updating materials - if new polygons are included or excluded from material tag or new material is added to objects. Yes please! I'm not seeing issues on my usages, maybe because I'm not using takes. After version 2021.1.1-R3.Surface Type of Octane Scatter,can't scale with object.
