Hi Ahmet,

this version crashes immediately when adding new nodes to NE if material uses subtstance shader.

Attached is bug-report and log-file.

Every render via RenderLayer feature with Black Shadows pass (since v4), gives this result in object's shadow:

I use this feature all the time. I don't have this problem with RC1. What are your sample settings like?

here is working as expected, do you have an HDRI Environment without Importance Sampling active?

bepeg4d, that's no matter what type of light source is used...

bagel, i understand what you mean, but any samples count gives no difference in shadow noise

Just a quick question: Where do I find the installer for the network daemon?
Edit: Is there some sort of manual for the crypto matte feature? Using EXR(Octane) and ticking CryptoMaterial and CryptoObject doesn't work as expected on Objects with Object Tag and different materials.

Ahmet, maybe you could provide a sample scene?
