:( I see there is no support for casting alphashadows by emitters. Even pathtracing engine only provides sunlight alphashadows... I'm so disappointed

I'm not sure if its talked before.

I would like to use the lens shift to achieve bigger renders.
But I also would like to preserve my old camera settings.

Is there a way to save those camera settings in graph editor as a node?

if yes,
How should I create the node workflow to save different cameras
And how can I connect the current obj to a new render target node in order to bypass the preview configuration

Has anyone been using this kind of routine..?
Thanks.

I did the Benchmark using octane_22_benchmark.ocs
on my single 465 GTX card. Since I can see all my 352 cuda cores in both versions. I am using two monitors on my single card by the way.
It's nice to see a slight performance gain due to optimizations i suppose. Especially in directlighting.

Pathtracing with 16 max depth
v2.4
1.66 Megasamples/sec
3.17 fps
v2.3_v5
1.65 Megasamples/sec
3.14 fps

Directlighting 5_specular 1_glossy depth
v2.4
7.0 Megasamples/sec
13.35 fps
v2.3_v5
6.34 Megasamples/sec
12.09 fps

I made it work man. :)
If you happen to make the opacity of the Emissive material to 0 (zero)
than you will see the alpha mapped shadow. :D
Its good to solve it without the need of a new release. :)

See below.

That's a semi-useful hack. And if you need to see the emitter?
