Thanks! so at this point Octane is considered working properly again. The hang-ups sometimes caused the configuration changes not to save correctly. They are saving now.

Ironically enough after the update even with Octane plugin disabled now my DS no longer wants to close properly, not after few minutes or after several hours.

You may have to use the desktop trick

Simply add the following to a batch file that sits on you desktop to quickly kill the DAZ task

Code: Select all

taskkill /F /IM DAZStudio.exe

Does anyone have any news on the next Octane for DAZ build? It would be nice to have that denoiser working... I'm stuck with a 20 series card where my second 3090 should be

The Octane 2020.2 version of the plugin will not be released until the Octane 2020.2 final build is release (ie. the plugin won't be available for Octane 2020.2 RC builds).

I figured as much, but I was looking for some sort of an eta. In other words, any chance we are getting it before 2021? Also, thanks for the reply.

Have you checked if all your GPUs are active under the systems tab? Are you using the studio version of the plugin?
