I can't get BrigadeBench to launch with my RTX Titans. I have the latest Studio Driver (472.47). I did a new clean install and reboot also.
I get this error message -
UPDATE: I HAD TO DISABLE SLI (NVLINK) IN THE NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL TO GET IT TO WORK.

The new Photon Tracer turned out to be about twice as slow as the old Path Tracer. I made a simple test scene with small emitter objects in a dark room. And the picture turned out to be absolutely identical, but with a difference of two times in speed. All settings by default (except specific settings Photon tracer).

If your scene has medium or hard caustics, we're recommended you use Photon Tracer. Unless you use pathtracing or PMC.promity wrote:The new Photon Tracer turned out to be about twice as slow as the old Path Tracer. Maybe you have it blocked with firewall?sudisk wrote:I can't have the BrigadeBench program to show anything, even the first dialog.
I have both a RTX 2080ti and a RTX 3090, and using the 2080ti for display. NVidia drivers are up to date.
Any hints ?

I know this is a very early XB, but we should probably start reporting some stuff:
Some scenes exported, are working ok with default Pathtracing kernel. The moment I switch to Photon tracing the engine stops and can't visualize results. In fact, octane becomes irresponsive.

Are you able to share these scenes that are not responsive with photon tracing?Kalua wrote:I know this is a very early XB, but we should probably start reporting some stuff:

I didn't think for one second that a benchmark app would require it.
I'm at 9fps with the 3090 in full HD. Not bad for that render quality.
