If Standalone is working with the Titan, the plugin should. There is something else going on here....Any more ideas?
What Nvidia drivers are you using? If it's 331, there are know issues with these drivers, and it would be worth trying 327.
EDIT: Also worth making sure you have not overclocked either of your cards. You are running 2 right? Make sure SLI is disabled.

This is in my new machine with a Quadro K2000 as my main display and 2 Titans for GPU rendering
