i have had this when using custom AOV's / comping in octane, i originally thought it was a deadline issue but turning off "show passes" when doing the final render seems to fix this issue, using 2022.1.1-r4
I think you didn't understand the logic and problems on my explanations. Do not spend your time with these, nothing to do on this topic.
