That's strange. I downloaded your scene file and it works fine for me. It even works with the Al Upsampling turned on. Maybe some one else can check on their machine?CCIDgfx wrote:AI upsampling is not enabled and this is a different scene.aoktar wrote:CCIDGFX,
It only happens if you have AI upsampling. Otherwise try with a different scene or send your scene!
Here is the scene file

@ CCIDgfx: as dynaraton has already said, I can also confirm that your scene works correctly with AB Compare here:
ciao Beppe
The only thing that comes to my mind is to remove the installed version and download and reinstall again 2020.2-R3

ciao Beppe
I Actually did that before I posted this thread =/bepeg4d wrote:@ CCIDgfx: as dynaraton has already said, I can also confirm that your scene works correctly with AB Compare here:The only thing that comes to my mind is to remove the installed version and download and reinstall again 2020.2-R3![]()

Thank you aoktar! I noticed a couple of things with this release:
1) The dirt node doesn't affect bump.
2) The chaos node doesn't behave correctly with normal maps when you try to bring the intensity of the map down using the power slider.
3) The solo function behaves unpredictably; sometimes it works, sometimes it gets stuck in the solo mode and I have to go back to Octane Settings and change my kernel back to Pathtracing.

1,2 is not plugin related.feels wrote:Thank you aoktar! I noticed a couple of things with this release:

Nr.3 is a plugin implementation. I can help you If you can describe the steps to reproduce it.

N.2: I have also reported some weird behavior with "Chaos Node + normal maps" here and Stand alone site: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=76901&start=10feels wrote:Thank you aoktar! I noticed a couple of things with this release:

Otoy didn't say anything.
Help me bump this issue if you will.

Kalua, what value is the phong tag set to? Cinema usually defaults to around 40 or so...

I have the same issue with store render buffer. Render buffer screen is in dark grey color. When I press button 'P' or right click on render buffer screen - and choose color picker - and I move my mouse on grey screen - it shows colors. (bottom picture) Render buffer screen works only when I zoom in or out. (top picture) Doesn't work in any kind of scene, tried different settings, can't figure it out. It worked fine with 2020.1.5. I have latest Nvidia studio driver.
