To what god should I pray, so I can get at least 50 analytical spotlight beams, for more beamage.

Then please post to show what you are talking about! I'm preparing R2 build with some fixes on small UI problems and missing output AOVs. Because it is a bit random:
1. Essentialy, Light Beams may disappear from liveview and tweaking with parameters won't reset it. So you need to resend the scene to the liveviewer.
2. Most probably related to Octane engine itself, maybe if you could tag one of the core developpers: when using analytic light, light size can spike lightness of the scene. In that scenario primitive light + spotlight node works much better, though we loose the light beam effect capability.
