I totally understand but It's not controlled by plugins. This what I'm trying to explain. You should ask to Otoy for this! I have no idea will it come back or not! For my opinion It caused some problems in previous versions.andrefry wrote:Apologies but is that a yes ?aoktar wrote:As It's in standalone.andrefry wrote:Offline mode ?
Been waiting for offline mode to be reintroduced & I'd be super happy if it's happened.

I may attach the LOG if you wish so.

I haven't tried yet but updating should not cause any bad-effects for us!thanulee wrote:C4d has an update pending 19.068 or something. Should we update or wait Aoktar?

This plugin gives me an error inside C4D under network preferences that the remote machine has an invalid plugin ID.
If I replace the plugin with the previous version and boot back into C4D everything works fine. This is all without changing the slave daemon on the remote. I simply leave it running.
The standalone sees the remote machine fine as well. So it's something with this latest version of the plugin.
Here is what I am seeing.

The Octane version of the master (in your case the C4D plugin) needs to match exactly the version of your slaves. I.e. if you are using a C4D plugin of version 3.08.3 you have to use net render slaves with version 3.08.3, too, but you are using net render slaves with version 3.08.BCres wrote:This plugin gives me an error inside C4D under network preferences that the remote machine has an invalid plugin ID.
