Assuming you have v8 [latest update, >=M2 ] or any newer SketchUp - v2013 or v2014, then open Preferences > Extensions > Install... button - click, then find the RBZ and it is processed for you into your default Plugins folder...
You need to add .RBZ onto the very end of the ZIP file so it is recognized...
fileName.zip --> fileNme.zip.rbz ]OR fileName.rbz] will do it...

Alternatively get the SketchUcation PluginStore Toolset.
That has a submenu item to 'Install Archive' - which processes RBZ or ZIP archives and installs the contents for you into your default Plugins folder... or if you have optional others they are offered too [unlike the native Installer...]

If you have an unsupported SketchUp version < v8M2 then you do not have an RBZ install capability - therefore you must do the manually extraction and installation from the ZIP archive as described in the documentation...

This exporter works better than the preview window crap. For anyone else having trouble, bounce to standalone its just fabulous.

Can we have a 2016/2017 version of this exporter as well? Since not all features are included in the plugin (thinking Network Rendering etc)

Ahaaaa! It is included into the plugin now! Just have to activate the preview windows to be able to save to OCS. This solves all our problems. We can now get a working render going inside sketchup then export to OCS for the heavy work when doing network renderings etc.
