Ok thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming, because it looks like there will be a small update tomorrow to fix some deal breakers.

What did you get about texturing instances ? I am interested in this topic ? Is it possible to make variations to instances in a manneer that each instance is different color ? One is totally red, the other green and so on.

Yes Boris - you may even mirror instances and have unsymmetrical texture on them. I'll post some screenshots here soon.

Here is the screenshot - just use the material map (menu->geometry) for each instance and define colors, textures independently.

If you want to instance meshes, it is usually the easiest to copy and paste the mesh nodes. All mesh nodes loaded from the same file are always considered instances.

I can't find a defaults.ocs file anywhere on my laptops c drive, the drive where octane is installed,
this morning i did install release 1.30 on my desktop and it worked fine.
