Now, correctly if I'm wrong, but instancing will allow us to also move objects in the scene. Maybe not at first, but the possibility is there. I am assuming this is true.
If this gets implemented, will it be possible to have a second viewport where we can move our camera and move objects while seeing how the change looks in our main camera? Best example is for lights, if the light mesh is off the scene, I currently wont be able to move it around and see how it affects the scene without moving my camera. Now, if this is possible, it would probably be a good idea to have a traditional CPU rendered viewport for the second one so it doesnt slow down the actual rendering. Or, if thats not possible, have the option to have each viewport rendered by separate cards, then when you render, you switch to one view and all GPUs.
Let me know if my heads in the clouds here.

I figured that was the next game plan, I really just wanted to put the multiple viewport idea out there so it's in their heads (if they didnt already consider it) when planning movable objects.

Btw kavorka, if you create a Render Target node, you don't have to worry about moving the camera. You can create multiple camera nodes and attach them to the Render Target node, so for instance, you can have a camera node to use as test camera, so you can move around in the scene, adjust the lights etc. and another camera node for the final render. You can have as many camera nodes as you want.

Why not? You can switch camera at any time, I don't see the problem.
