It's a lovely still life image. I love the simple beauty & the smoke detail is a nice touch. I think maybe we should organize a few "Octane photowalks", where everyone get out their cameras, and shoot a few things inside & outside of our personal worlds...then remake the camera image with the tools of our choice to render in Octane (with a little bit of post work allowed). Kind of like the art class where everyone sits together & draws their interpretation of the bowl of fruit, or nude model etc... We all might learn some surprising things about our physical & virtual worlds

@ FACE ...in my book size and diameter have nothing to do with density
and for your info I am graduate of visual Arts = color , forms and design
but now I guess we are clear and on the same page regarding to the smoke
and my reaction would be complete different if you described it more accurate in your first post and keep the sizes and diameters out of it

Are you in trolling mood also ?
people better see the full picture and stop analyzing details , it is about artwork not damn house blue prints
as imperfections make us human , other way we would have not talk here about , would be so boring perfect world
Thanks Alex , actually good idea .. a challenge for everyone to show own knowledge in renders .. that could be much fun

Just a little fun to "lighten" the mood since the candle flame was blown out

I do promise you this though...the day is soon coming when discerning the virtual photo from the physical one here will not be that easy, if it's possible at all. Be prepared. I take my signature very seriously <cue dramatic Hans Zimmer crescendo>
