It's all been modeled in blender from scratch. I wanted also to build up my archviz skills on blender, since I'm planning on moving over. I have to admit that Blender has done for my modeling what Octane has done for my rendering, I'm in love with it again. Such fun modeling away. So I got a few reference pictures of each part I wanted to model, always with a clear focus of what I had in mind and what I wanted to tell. The mood had to be cold and gritty, and even a little lonesome.
The textures have been either hand painted in blender (dirt and such) or from cgtextures. I have an hdri as exterior light and a light bulb with an IES file for some shots. All rendered in PMC besides the "square" one that was done in PT, about 1 to 2hr each in a single GTX 570 and the PT one for 5hrs, color corrected, logo added and no other retouching.
Hope you like it and I would appreciate any ideas for extra detail.
Won't show for now the novel excerpt describing the idea, 'cause I rather "surprise" you later with the whole scene. But that might take some time
