Hi.

I've just come across this and it's a really awesome renderer. The only thing I can't seem to figure out is how to get interior lights into the scenes.

It appears the light is actually coming from a mesh which is cool.

My question is

1. How to get a mesh to emmit light?
2. Can the light be moved around inside Octane or do I have to go back in the modeling program (C4D) to do that?

I looked in the help manula, but it still wasn't very clear unleses I missed soething.

Is there a tutorial on this somewhere? Thanks.

Hi, have a look to the tutorial series from radiant emissions (part 12):

Moving mesh lights is not possible in octane atm., you have to use your 3d software and export and reimport in octane.

Cheers, mib.

Ah thanks so much for your reply. Sorry it took a bit for me to respond.

These are quite helpful... aw, a shame you can't move the lights while in Octane though... hopefully that'll be adde in the future.
