My John Malkovich inspired portrait. Modelled in Zbrush, textured in C4D Bodypaint and renderering in Octane.
I have simulated SSS subscatter epidermal surfaces with a emission material in Octane.
A HDRI environment + 1 Area Light emitter. PMC modality for the render in Octane.
You've a nice day

Your textures look good and the scene but it has a little cartoony feel to it which maybe what it was you were after. Check the fake ss effects on the octane live db under the misc section and try them on your character. The second material might work better. It has absorption replicating closely but real sss will be like. Just load your skin map in the diffuse channel. Another alternative will be to wait a little longer for beta 2.6.

Your lighting seems extremely flat. Maybe you could make it more dramatic and add some key, fill and rim lights.
Just a thought
