Interesting, the same technique should work with leaves, candles and any other SSS needed effect. But how much will it cost in render time with so many small objects?

Mmm i don't think that this tecniche is good for leaves since, in general, they are made by few polys with no thikness but scurely it's very good for candles, soap, plastics and so on ;)

To make the scene complete, I have just added some clip texture planes for the hair.
