480cores*168s/384cores = 210 -> should I expect 3:30 mins then?
For some reason, the cores in the 560 do not perform as well as the cores in a 570 or 580. It seems that it might have something to do with the architecture of the chip.

to me it seems like the interface width (256 bits for x60 cards, 320 bits for x70 cards and 384 bits for x80 cards) is the factor that leads to this, because ram bandwidth is a clear factor in rendering performance; just have a look here http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=9&t=7383

I know this was to be rendered with an old version of octane, but I thought it would just be interesting to put of the stats on my gtx560ti - 7.3ms/sec :) Thats faster than the gtx590 on the old octane! good job with the render engine refractive!:D

... well it's even faster than a gtx 590 in the latest octane version. are you sure you did use pathtracing? ;)
