Hi i have three images here two from Cinema 4D and one from Octane render.
I am trying to recreate the darkening in between the text while still using a mesh light
Any help on how this can be done?

You can render an AO pass in Octane or Cinema and comp the result with the Octane render together.

Thank you very much I should have thought of that.

Try using the direct lighting kernel and play with the AO distance. That should give you a similar effect.nehale wrote:Hi i have three images here two from Cinema 4D and one from Octane render.

another way would be to backe the AO of the letters in c4d and than use it as texture emission in octane
