after all i think the 49 or somewhat bucks i spent a few weeks earlier are for good=)

i love what i see and maybe i can use it for some production shot

excellent, amazingly fast and very realistic for fake GI! Great work octane team once again, i think we all love the fast DL kernel and the new features make it... irresistable!! :D

As it now chucks out images like these in less time it takes to make a cuppa im happy as a DAZ3d user.

Any chance of correcting the map_D recognition on import before final release?

can you enable color bleeding in DL or im missing something . . .
compare pics with PCM vs DL difusedepth 6
DL is so colder looking color tones...light should be colored like in PCM...i have feeling only white light bounce off parquet in DL

and, shadow above door on celing on DL looks incorect comaparing to PMC
i dont know, is this how things work in DL, am i expecting too much :)

What is your glossy depth? The floor is a glossy material which is why the glossy depth is important here. Maybe try increasing it.

it cant...
i dont know why but GI in direct lightning cant reflect color lights only white... PMC vs DL
difference is huge...

Hi,

This is because currently the glossy material is handled as a material that is 'glossy', not diffuse (eg, not even for the diffuse component of it).
Eg, the floor's glossy material diffuse channel is not included in indirect diffuse bounces,
only 'diffuse' type materials.
This is something that we need to investigate first, before we can fix, as it might require changes in the organization of the engine that either slow down everything, or are quite a bit of work to develop.

I'll put it on our list.
