The simplest test you can do is to create a new project, add a diffuse material node and select that node. If Octane then crashes it's very likely a driver problem. Which Mac OS version do you have? Which CUDA driver did you install and which CUDA toolkit?boom wrote:Hi again
I think I have tried pretty much everthing in my hopes getting Octane up and running again.
I uninstalled Octane and installed CUDA drivers again. Then I reinstalled the Octane 1.24 CUDA 3.2 beta.
I tried to load an simple box .obj from Wings3D, but Octane still crashes when I hit the node to make it render.
Tweaking the .obj importer makes no difference - Octane still crashes when I try to make Octane render the imported .obj box.
Anyone have any pointers to what I might try?
