Export problems.

I seem to have export problems with the 1.22 plug-in downloaded from http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... =29&t=1612
It won't export meshes with more than 1.5-2.0 million tris. The meshes are composed of multiple objects.
Is this a confirmed limit of the plug-in?
I'm using Windows Vista 64 bit, XSI 6.5 64 bit and Octane 2.46 64 bit, Quadro 4000 2Gb.

How much RAM do you have? It takes quite alot of RAM when doing the voxeling in Octane (not to be confused with VRAM). There is no limit of the plug-in that I know of (Have exported about 4.8 Million Tris).

The only limit are instanced models.
Normal models and other types should be exported.

I have 8Gb of ram, should that be enough or do I need more?
It is not the voxelation what is the problem. The export from XSI just freezes halfway through, still in XSI, Octane not even started. Here is a picture of the problem. In this example it froze quite early, couse the model was now 3.5 mil polies for rendering in MR. Normally, an object with 2.5 mil pollies stops about half way.

Maybe you can zip the Softimage scn file and send it to me via pm?
The problem is, i don´t have the 6.5 installed.
There are major changes between XSI 6, 7 and 2010-
